I am sorry but I do not speak finnish, so I must write in english. I translated this topic via google and as far as I understood it covers the same issue I investigate in Poland.
I am a polish historian and journalist. I do research in issue of finnish soldiers who died in Burg Waldstein hospital near Szczytna (germ: Ruckers) in 1942 and 1943. I have been there on local cementary yesterday, and I found memorial with ten finnish names of people who were buried there during WW II. The memorial had been established by Finnish Veteran Society and local authorities in 1993, and replaced 10 old graves with wooden crosses. I am trying to determine the reason why so many Finnish died so far away from home. There is no any sources on history of Reservelazarett Burg Waldstein but I will try to reconstruct the history of this episode, and collect all available informations. According to my knowledge the memorial in Szczytna is an only and only place in Poland where finnish soldiers had been buried during WW II.
