I would like to know what are the reading and writing incentive policies adopted by this establishment in or any library in finland. Also, how many books a user reads on average per year.
In Finnish libraries we have some ways to encourage people to read. In Helmet-libraries in metropolitan area we have for example reading circles (lukupiirit in Finnish), Short story hooks (Novellikoukku), story hours for children (satutunnit), study group for immigrant women (Luetaan yhdessä), story telling day, writer visits and The Helmet-reading challenge (Helmet-lukuhaaste).
